we managed to catch some pretty ghostly orbs at a local hotel in Wiltshire!
walking around the hotel we were surprised that where we 'felt' a ghostly presence that no orbs showed up on the resulting photo, yet when we were close to a wooden cabinet, we both swore that we could feel more than one presense, when we looked closely at the photos, there seemed to be quite a few orbs!
in the hotels restaurant, i have taken photos on various days at different times of the day and so far i havn't failed to catch one of these ghostly spirits present!
they are harmless, curious spirits and usually cannot be seen with the naked eye, perhaps you have noticed a little sparkle shimmering in the corner of your eye then turned to find nothing there? next time try to keep your eyes focused straight on and the shimmering of the orbs will stay a while longer! - to see all the hotels orbs photos enter the main site here!

Top UK tribute GENESIS IN THE CAGE are appearing at the CHEESE & GRAIN, FROME on Sat. 10th February.
GITC perform the music from the "CLASSIC" period (1970-1980) in Genesis's long and varied history, a time when Peter Gabriel & Steve Hackett were still in the band, then Peter left & Phil Collins came out from behind his drumkit to take over where Peter had left off and was simply known then as the drummer who could sing a bit!!!! Then Steve left, Phil became a solo superstar and the music of this wonderful early period forgotten about and ignored by the vast majority who simply think GENESIS are Phil Collins alternative backing band!!!!!!!!!!

............UPDATE NOV 2006............ ANNIE WALLER local Wiltshire Author has now finished her 2nd book... the long awaited GIRL GUIDANCE!!!
enter Annie's site
WHERE: Borders Bristol Somerest
WHEN: Saturday, March 04 2006 3-3pm
WHY: Meet rising star and local Wiltshire author
WHO: Annie Waller - RAF Wife based at RAF Lyneham Wiltshire. Author of "MARRIED TO ALBERT", a turbulent tale of marriage, mayhem and the military
Photocall: Annie will be signing first edition copies of her novel and giving advice
on how to write a blockbuster!
Meet Annie Waller Annie's site
Background:
Waterstone's Swindon launched Annie Waller on 5th November 2005.
3 weeks later her novel went national, placed on the shelves of every Waterstone's store.
7 weeks after that Borders gave 'Married to Albert' national coverage in their stores and The Swindon Festival of Literature asked her to speak on stage at the Wyvern Theatre in May.
"Annie has taken the literary world by storm," says David Thomas of Boltneck Publications Ltd. "Her fast track to success is what new authors can only dream of."
Gail Harbour, Buying Manager of Gardner's the UK's largest book wholesaler says, "Annie Waller's debut novel is hysterically funny. I laughed out loud so much that my husband banished me to the car. Gardner's made a unique decision to take her on because we really believe in her talent. She has huge sales potential and a fabulous career ahead."
Newspapers up and down the UK want to know about Annie Waller. The Hereford Times, Stirling Observer, Yorkshire Post, Swindon Advertiser, Wiltshire Gazette & Herald, Western Daily Times, covered her launch story. (Even the Daily Express interviewed her at Christmas.)
Reviews on www.amazon.co.uk speak for themselves claiming Britain has a new Helen Fielding and customers demand to see a sequel.
"The sequel Girl Guidance (GG) is almost finished," says Annie. "And I have plenty of ideas for more books. My 'Peter Kay' observational humour compels me to write."
Annie is mother to two small children and wrote the book whilst her RAF pilot husband served in foreign conflicts around the world, including Afghanistan and Iraq.
Married to Albert tells the story of a young girl called Kate who likes her job, a drink and a pilot called Guy. Kate reluctantly leaves civi-street to 'join up' via matrimony but has a bit of trouble settling in.
"No one has written such an in-depth account on military life for women. I am the first of a kind and the book's success shows I fill a massive market gap. You see, when you marry the Air Force, it's almost as good as joining up. I got posted 200 miles away from home. I gave up my friends and family for a bloke who was seldom around. People spoke to me in three letter abbreviations and I had no idea what they meant. But the most marked difference between a civi-street workplace and the military 'family' was a vicious line in banter. This abundance of sure-fire wit gave me mountains of material to turn into a really funny fictional story. And why not? Already we have Bravo Two Zero and Tornado Down. So why couldn't some wifey go and write a romance? People are fascinated when I say I married a Royal Air Force Pilot but the truth is far from fascinating. I married a fairytale but live with banter, loneliness and am only recognised through the rank of my husband. I!
watched the absurdity of it all and decided to tell the world. For instance, it seems bizarre that when I see a doctor on the base, someone dressed as a tree asks me how I'm feeling!"
Annie Waller will be appearing on stage before Kate Adie at the Wyvern Theatre on May 8th at 6pm-7pm. Tickets available from mid-March on 01793 524481.
Annie Waller will be at Borders Bristol (53-57 Queen's Rd) on Saturday 4th March at 3pm.
